Part 1: Capstone Ideas Discussion

During our team meetings on Zoom and discussions on Discord, we proposed several capstone ideas including topics like quantum computing, AI decision-making, and cyberattacks. Our classmates voted on these ideas, and based on the results, the instructor assigned quantum computing as the topic for our team. Although we didn’t choose the topic ourselves, we are excited to explore quantum computing because it is very relevant and has great potential impact.

Part 2: What I Learned This Week

This week, I learned from the career guide how important it is to stay updated on emerging technologies and how they influence tech careers, especially in cybersecurity. Balancing school with my new job has been tiring, but I am managing to keep up with my learning and teamwork. I also learned that AI tools can help me write more effectively by acting as an assistant to organize ideas and improve clarity. Our team started planning the final presentation by dividing tasks and scheduling regular meetings using Zoom and communicating through Discord. I look forward to diving deeper into quantum computing and its potential effects on cybersecurity.

  Part One: Set Your Educational Goals Regarding my educational goals at CSUMB, I aim to earn my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a strong GPA. As I mentioned previously, I aspire to specialize in Cybersecurity and, hopefully, attend a reputable university that offers a respected Master’s degree program, such as the University of California, Berkeley.
